Search & Rescue is a very powerful tool, but there are data loss situations where the expertise of an in-house engineer is required.

*Search & Rescue/Mac cannot undelete files, yet. If you have deleted files, please run the demo to make sure that the product actually sees the files. If not, you may want to try the MacMedic demo to see if it can locate your deleted files.

• Color monitor recommended with 256 or more colors, monitor resolution of 640 x 480 or higher.

It is recommended to install the software on a working machine, setting up the problem drive as a slave, and to recover data to a different volume than the one being recovered.

IMPORTANT: Data recovery requires advanced knowledge of computer systems including how to connect drives to a computer and what Master and Slave devices are. If you are not comfortable with doing this, consult our professional in-lab services.
